Com-ITU (Working Group ITU) shall (ToR):
1. organise the co-ordination of CEPT actions for the preparation for and during the course of the
following ITU activities: Meetings of the Council, Plenipotentiary Conferences, World
Telecommunication Development Conferences, World Telecommunication Standardisation Assemblies
and other meetings as appropriate;
2. develop and approve European Common Proposals (ECPs) for the work of these ITU meetings;
3. develop and approve briefs for the members of CEPT national delegations in order to present the
European positions at these ITU meetings;
4. consult with various bodies and organisations inside or outside the CEPT and Administrations
outside the CEPT, with the principal aim to collect information and to broaden the support of CEPT
positions;
5. consult with ECC on matters that have repercussions on ECC’s work;
6. keep the ECC informed of its activities;
7. develop and maintain its work programme, approve the work programme of its subordinate bodies,
and guide and co-ordinate the work of these bodies;
8. report to the CEPT Assembly on the progress of its work.

Telecommunication Development Conference.
PT 1 - Preparation for PP-10 - issues related to the Constitution and Convention,
including general mattes not within the mandate of the other groups.
PT 2 - Preparation for PP-10 - issues related to financial and personnel matters.
PT 3 - Preparation for PP-10 - issues related to WSIS, Internet and ITR.
