Latest news from 72nd WG SE meeting in Amsterdam, The Netherlands
01 Feb 2016, 14:53The 72nd meeting of WGSE was held in Amsterdam (the Netherlands) on 25 – 29 January 2016.
The meeting adopted the following ECC deliverables for official publication by ECO:
- ECC Report 243: Wireless video links in the frequency bands 2700-2900 MHz and 2900-3400 MHz (SE7)
- ECC Report 244: Compatibility studies related to RLANs in 5725-5925 MHz (SE24)
- ECC Report 245: Compatibility studies between PMSE and other systems / services in the band 1350- 1400 MHz (SE7)
- ECC Report 247: Description of the software tool for processing of measurements data of IRIDIUM satellites at the Leeheim station (SE40)
And provisionally approved for public consultation the following draft deliverables:
- Draft ECC Report 249: Review of the characterisation of the unwanted emissions to achieve a more efficient use of the spectrum (SE21)
- Draft ECC Report 250: Compatibility studies between TTT/DSRC in the band 5805-5815 MHz and other systems (SE24)
- Draft ECC Report 251: The impact of UWB applications on board aircraft in the band 6-8.5 GHz on FS links used around airports and on EESS earth stations (SE24)
- Draft ECC Report 252: SEAMCAT-User Manual (STG)
WGSE did not approve draft ECC Report 246 on WI SE24_54, which was in public consultation, but extended the deadline for this work to January 2017. The reports on the WIs SE24_54 and SE24_42 are expected to be delivered in a package to WGSE.
