COVID-19 Crisis - Latest update from the CEPT Presidency and the ECO – Meetings of CEPT groups will remain online until at least 1 September 2021

22 Mar 2021, 10:00

Dear Colleagues,

The CEPT Presidency and the ECO met last Friday, March 19th, to consider the latest developments and to review the decision taken early in January to maintain the policy of virtual only meetings.

Having duly considered the current pandemic situation, though conscious of the challenges faced by the CEPT Committees, the CEPT Presidency took the decision to extend the policy of virtual meetings only, until 1 September 2021.

We are continuing to monitor the impact of the coronavirus crisis and we are liaising closely with the management teams of the various groups in order to ensure a consistent approach to meetings across CEPT. A review of the situation will take place in the summer and a further communication will be circulated then.

The ECO premises will remain closed until further notice but the work of CEPT groups will continue to be supported by ECO staff members working remotely. Contact details for ECO staff members can be found here.

We will continue to monitor the situation on a day-to-day basis and take further appropriate steps as required.

Thank you for your continued support and assistance.
