As agreed during the SE40#77 meeting in Biel, Switzerland (25-28 July 2022), this forum thread is created for the Work Item SE12 on Iridium measurements.

The SE40#77 endorsed the draft ECC Report “Unwanted emissions of Iridium NEXT satellites in the band 1610.6-1613.8 MHz, monitoring campaign of November 2020 to May 2021” (see attach) but decided that more time would be beneficial to improve the text and add further details. See the minutes of the meeting on WI SE_12 (Iridium measurements) discussions and outcome.

Further contributions to this doc. are welcome.

Dear All, 

Following our July meeting, I have worked with my Iridium colleagues to generate some results figures similar to those presented in earlier Reports. Attached is a comparison of the results from the 2020/21 measurement set, compared with those taken in 2013 (ECC Report 226). I invite your comments on the proposed text, which would become section 6.7 in the report.

Please note - the yellow highlights simply denotes where numbering may need to be adjusted when the material is inserted into the main document. All text should be treated as new material.
