Use of the Cospas-Sarsat IBRD (International Beacon Registration Database) regarding PLB equipment?
Yes (Active use will begin during the year 2011).

Registration procedure for 406 MHz PLB:
Seller or buyer of the PLB will register his PLB trough the official web interface of the Ministry of Sea, Transport and Infrastructure.
Registration data will also be available to the the Cospas-Sarsat IBRD.
