Due to 100% GSM coverage the PLBs are considered by the representatives of the National Integrated Emergency System (IZS) as unnecessary.

Free movement To carry any radio transmitting device in the Czech Republic is not forbidden, but rules for their use shall be observed, i.e. PLB owner shall be aware that its transmission is prohibited on territory of the Czech Republic and no services for PLB are provided.
